Artist's Comments

This series was taken by Photography by John on January 9th 2005. It was the first shoot after the New Year. Bethany was in the shoot, but both of us shot serperately. It was actually my idea to shoot this set, the tub, the bubbles, the fruit. I wanted to try to look cute, revealing, inviting, possibly even sexy and all while hanging out in a pair of pasties and nude colored underwear, oh, and lots and lots of bubbles. The bubbles gave me a real sense of security, maybe false security, but security none the less and I wasn't feeling compromised or guilty for being in the tub. I was exploring my insecurities and hang-ups and pushing my own personal envelope, and oddly enough felt comfortable with it.

To think, I have ones like this in the family album.... many years back of course. Guess not much has changed. hehehe.

I think you pulled it off well. I have shot a number of times specific images or sets because the lady was working on issues, and would bring notes from their therapist for us to consider exploring.
spirits bless,

Hahaha, well I'm not sure if the issues were quite like that. But if I was going to go there, I'd need waaaay more than a therapist. I can't afford the help I need. hehehe.

Glad you enjoyed the photo. Thank you!!!! :)
